Parents/guardians of any student residing within the CVUSD attendance boundary may apply to enroll their student in a CVUSD school other than their residence school through the district’s Intradistrict Open Enrollment process. Open Enrollment transfer applications for the 2026–2027 school year will be available online from November 3, 2025 (7:30 a.m.) through December 5, 2025 (4:30 p.m.). Data Confirmation is the annual online process that requires parents and guardians to review, update, and confirm essential student and family information. During Data Confirmation, families will be able to edit and review information such as Emergency Contacts, Medical Conditions, Authorizations, and District Policies. To complete the Data Confirmation process, parents/guardians MUST be logged into their Aeries Parent Portal account.

We believe that communication between home and school is necessary to guarantee the best possible education for our students. The weekly community newsletter is sent home via Aeries Communication every Saturday at 11:30 am and published on the website.

School starts promptly at 8:00 am for all students. Kindergarten releases at 11:30 am Monday-Friday. Jr. High students release at 2:40 pm, and students in 1st to 6th grade release at 2:50 pm. Every Thursday is a minimum day and all students release at 11:30 am. Please see the calendar for other scheduled minimum days that occur throughout the year.
