Jr. High Parent Conferences - September 30th and October 2nd

Posted Date: 09/23/26 (04:00 PM)

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Communication between school and home is essential for student success. With that in mind, the Junior High Staff at Legacy Academy would like to invite you to the Junior High Student Led Conferences on September 30th & October 2nd. Parents/guardians are encouraged to bring their student and meet with each teacher. Jr. High students will be on minimum day schedule September 30th, October 1st, and October 2nd.

All teachers and our counselor will be in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). You may come at any time during the conference window on your designated day. The schedule for the open conferences is based on the student’s last name.

Last names from A through M: Wednesday, September 30th from 12:30 to 2:30 pm
Last names from N through Z: Friday, October 2nd from 12:30 to 2:30 pm

These times are intended to allow for a brief review of current grades, work effort and behavior.

Procedures

  1. Parents are welcome to meet with any or all of their child’s teachers during conference time.
  2. If a teacher is currently meeting with another parent, please have a seat and wait until the teacher becomes available. We appreciate your patience as we work to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all families.
  3. If other parents are waiting to meet with a teacher, please limit your conference to approximately five minutes. If additional time is needed to discuss concerns or questions, we encourage you to schedule a separate meeting or follow up by phone or email.
  4. The primary purpose of these conferences is to provide students with an opportunity to share their academic progress, achievements, and goals with their parents. Conferences also serve as a valuable opportunity for parents and teachers to communicate about student strengths, areas for growth, academic performance, and classroom behavior.
We look forward to your student having the opportunity to lead you through this process and assist with collaborative communication.  We appreciate your understanding and patience in allowing us to meet with every parent.

Sincerely,
The Junior High Staff
